bowery-gold

OPEN UNTIL 3AM FRIDAY & SATURDAY

Based in the bustling bohemian area in Dublin City it’s a unique, dedicated live music venue and Rum bar. We’re very passionate about our music and you can tell. We’ve everything covered from Rock ’n’ Roll to Ska, Acoustic to Funk and loads of special guests. We’ve also got some of the best DJ’s Dublin has to offer. Imagine being in the “bowels” of an 18th Century boat and you’re half way there.  With the finest wood panelling from the local convent, port holes from the decommissioned Irish Naval Ship Le Setanta and floorboards from the Bolands Mill. We’re “Hot” according to The Irish Times, Lovin’ Dublin love the Nautical feel and Hot Press are excited about “Dublins brand new music venue.”

THE VENUE

Soaked in history, the port holes lining the bar came from Irish Naval auxiliary ship L.E. Setanta, which was decommissioned in 1980. The floorboards come from the recently demolished Boland’s Mill in Ringsend, while the wood panelling came from the former Little Sisters of the Poor convent on The South Circular Road.
