bowery-gold

OPEN UNTIL 3AM FRIDAY & SATURDAY

Based in the bustling bohemian area of Rathmines in Dublin City, The Bowery is Ireland’s most unique, dedicated live music venue and rum bar. We’re very passionate about our music and you can tell. We are proud to host incredible acts from over the globe to Dublin. Designed as the “bowels” of an 18th Century boat and armed with un-rivaled P.A and lighting rig, The Bowery is state of the art venue like no other. The interior was built using the finest wood panelling from the local convent, port holes from the decommissioned Irish Naval Ship Le Setanta and floorboards from the Bolands Mill, The Bowery is truly something you need to see for yourself.

We’re “Hot” according to The Irish Times, Lovin’ Dublin love the Nautical feel and Hot Press are excited about “Dublin’s brand new music venue.”

THE VENUE

Soaked in history, the port holes lining the bar came from Irish Naval auxiliary ship L.E. Setanta, which was decommissioned in 1980. The floorboards come from the recently demolished Boland’s Mill in Ringsend, while the wood panelling came from the former Little Sisters of the Poor convent on The South Circular Road.
